An XML sitemap is one of the most important technical foundations for search engine optimization of a website.

sitemap for any website in just seconds – directly in your browser, without a server, without installation, and without
sharing data with third parties. The tool automatically crawls your website, detects all relevant URLs, and exports
a ready-to-use sitemap.xml that you can immediately submit to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
The tool uses an intelligent Smart Crawl strategy that automatically selects the
most reliable method for each website. First, the target site's robots.txt is
read to detect existing sitemap directives. Then, over 13 common
sitemap paths are checked – including /sitemap.xml, /wp-sitemap.xml, and
/sitemap_index.xml. If no sitemap exists, the built-in HTML crawler starts, traversing the
website page by page and capturing all internal links. To bypass browser CORS restrictions,
up to four public proxy services are used as automatic fallbacks.

Especially for larger websites, pages with weak internal linking, or
freshly set up domains, an XML sitemap is a crucial ranking factor. It provides search engines with
important metadata such as the date of the last modification (lastmod), the update frequency
(changefreq), and the relative importance of each page (priority). A correct
sitemap significantly shortens the time to indexation and ensures that no important content is overlooked.
Not every URL on a website belongs in the sitemap. The generator offers extensive filtering options:
URLs can be filtered by type (HTML pages, PDFs, images), unwanted path patterns can be excluded using wildcards
(e.g., */tag/*, */feed/*, or *?s=*), and with the
"Only containing" filter, you can focus the sitemap on specific areas like /blog/ or
/products/. Additionally, crawl depth, maximum URL count, and the delay between
requests can be individually configured – ideal for large websites and servers with rate limiting.
The generated sitemaps comply with the official Sitemaps Protocol 0.9
and are fully compatible with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and all common
CMS systems. The fields lastmod, changefreq, and priority can
be individually enabled or disabled. Priority is either automatically calculated based on URL depth
or manually set uniformly for all URLs. The result can be downloaded as a formatted (Pretty Print)
or compact XML file, or copied directly to the clipboard.
